Thomas O’Connell is a retired Chief of the Narcotics & Violent Crime Section of the Las Vegas United States Attorney’s Office.
Tom spent nearly 30 years in law enforcement, as a police officer and Assistant District Attorney in New York, and as an Assistant United States Attorney in both Las Vegas, Nevada, where True Las Vegas Crime Stories were everyday life and San Jose, California, where Tom retired from the U.S. Department of Justice in 2013.
Arguably, his most interesting experiences occurred during his 13 year tenure in Las Vegas, where he served as both Senior Litigation Counsel and Chief of the Narcotics and Violent Crime Section. Living through legendary true Las Vegas crime stories was just a part of Tom’s daily routine.
